Bottom Line at the top line; this is one of THE Best Metal Albums of All Time.
I’m a late bloomer on the Deftones. Always liked White Pony but that was pretty much it. I got this album 6-8 months ago & not only has it become my favorite Deftones album, but one of my favorite albums of all time. And now, I’m going thru their whole catalog. This album has so many layers & elements. The mood it sets is intense one moment, mesmerizing the next. I saw them probably 10 years ago and I’m sure it was this albums tour, they were good in concert, but Im bummed I missed the experience of knowing them & this album a bit better at the time.

Ok, it’s almost impossible to rank Deftones albums and although this doesn’t have my favorite songs of theirs on it, as a whole, it’s the best. Solid all around. So much emotion, so much power, so much energy!
