This album blew me away. NBR stepped up their game in every way. Singer Michael Perez expanded his range and screams. He sounds INCREDIBLE. Instrumentally, they sound so crisp and heavy. Just what this scene needed. No auto tune garbage or crappy lyrics like so many of today's "hardcore" bands. You want REAL HARDCORE? NO BRAGGING RIGHTS IS EXACTLY THAT. This band has always had passionate, true and positive lyrics. Nothing changes with Cycles. Such a fantastic album, from the first to the last song. This album has solidified NBR as a heavy hitter in the music industry. Great guys who create some of the most genuine, real, beautiful music you will ever hear.WELL worth 8 bucks. GO SUPPORT AT SHOWS. Buy merch, buy their previous albums while you're buying this one. You will be so glad you did. See you soon, boys.

…with a dash of melody. found these guys today in hot topic in louisville. I'm impressed. sonically very tight. lots of energy. definitely a solid buy if you like fast-paced, heavy, in-your-face rock and roll. the clean vocals really soar. they sound just like their hometown…. dirty, and angst-ridden… hailing from riverside, california. definitely a solid album to throw on your iPod or iPhone if you're headed to them gym … or on a ride on your bike.
  • NBR hits gold again.

No Bragging Rights came into my life right before the release of Illuminator, they have motivated me to always push forward. Cycles is no different, the lyrics and instruments are so well thought out and placed together perfectly. Definitely worth a 7.99 buy and so much more.

No Bragging Rights has always been special due to their attention to preserving the "rawness" of this genre. They have elements of Atreyu, Alexisonfire, Hundreth and a few others. You won't find over production or auto tune on any of their albums. This album really dials in on their sound and finely tunes everything perfectly. It may not have some of the catchy easy to remember chorus' that Illuminator had but its peppered with beautiful singing, and passionate screams. "Not My Salvation" and "Hope Theory" are prime examples of this bands musical diversity, literally jumping from heartfelt screams to uplifting clean vocals back to double time punk beats with gang vocals. All while maintaining a sense of authenticity. This is a real band and a real album. Buy it. Support them.
