The Moonlighters' music has richened my soul. I've seen the best guitarists from around the world. None of them compare to Phil Hurley and Josh Zee, who trade lead playing and continually amaze their audiences...their vocals are wonderful also. Lonnie Trevino Jr. blends the tunes with incredible bass playing, and his jaw-dropping vocals will leave you stunned. Phil Bass keeps the band together with exquisite percussion, and his vocals lend one more delightful surprise to the ensemble. The quintessential band's band. I've never seen more interactive talent, energy, and fun on stage together. Enjoy!

Saw these guys at SXSW and got hooked. Awesome CD and even better live in person. All the players are fantastic but Lonnie Trevino blew my mind. They say that Phil Bass is the secret weapon of the band but, I think it is Lonnie. Great finger work and very smooth and tasty licks.
Can I get more Lonnie in my monitor? That guy RULES!!!!! (and i don't even know him)

I saw this band for the first time at the Luckenbach Harvest Classic Motorcycle Rally. They were the perfect band for that event and I bought the CD right there. It is on regular rotation in the car. When I need an injection of great live music this is one of the CDs that gets played.
I have CDs of other bands that are "Live at The Saxon" and the sound quality on this one is just as crisp and clean. The recording engineer(s) have realty figured out how to capture sound that makes you feel like you are there.
