  • Love this side of BH

I absolutely love this side of Buckethead. Disturbing and hellishly uneasy at times, but groovy and melodic at others. Listening to this, you can tell he has been touring. Sounds a lot like his live playing. I caught myself several times wanting to do the robot. Also reminds me a lot of "The Cuckoo Clocks of Hell" which is one album iTunes should seriously consider acquiring. Great job on the album BH. Molokai is a strange place with an eerie background.
  • Richer from the experience

This is my favorite Buckethead Pikes so far. It takes me back to being a kid walking through the haunted house for the first time. Heart jumping from my throat, not knowing what was around the next corner. The anticipation of the next thrill, reluctantly continuing on through the maze of dark hallways. Realizing you made it to the end intact and richer from the experience. Hard driven, melodic, rythmic and peaceful, Tells an amazing story with no lyrics.

Buckethead Pikes - 7 albums in about just over 1 year. Unheard of. Musical genius. Fearless. Virtuoso. Unparalleled. Other musicians and bands for that matter struggle to get one album out every 2 to 4 years and Buckethead keeps beling them out - proud to let the world hear his creations. Love it or hate it - you have to respect it. It's my therapy and inexpensive at that. I laugh at these one hit wonders releasing one song every 6 to 12 months and with the help of the usual handful of hip hop producers - they all sound the SAME. Buckethead is unique and geniune. Just hope he plays some of this new music in his concerts. Rock on BH
