What happened to one of my favorite bands? Sorry guys, not horrible...but underwhelming, and I am always so positively overwhelmed usually when I hear them.
  • First impression: Total crap.

I'm only through four tracks and I want to kill myself.

This album is a raw example of Snow Patrol's style - maybe not the best songs, unlike their other albums - Fallen Empires, Eyes Open, A Hundred Million Suns, and Final Straw - but this is Snow Patrol :) so deal with it! SNOW PATROL TILL THE END! Best Songs - 1. An Olive Grove Facing the Sea: This could easily match Crack the Shutters. It's better. Calmer, it's one of their most original songs. A classic favorite! 2. Mahogany: The guitar in this song just makes you feel as if all your problems are vanishing. 3. One Night Is Not Enough: Great example of Gary's singing - and it has an energetic, cool vibe. 4. When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up - This song is Run's grandfather :) it has the same guitar energy, and I love it (maybe not as much as Run though.)
