This is a delightful "album," old school sounding fresh. Several songs here struck a positive note for the juncture I find myself at in my life. "Love Never Dies," "Do It For Yourself," and "Count Your Losses" are favorites. I've always wished she would do an album of piano solos. The instrumental version of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" only reinforces the wish!

SUCH A DISTURBING TITLE BUT THE ALBUM IS A GREAT .THIS SHOULD BE A PART OF ALL MUSIC LOVERS COLLECTION...REAL MUSIC...HEARING HER PERFORM THE INSTRUMENTAL VERSION AT THE JAZZ FEST YESTERDAY WAS A TEARJERKER FOR ME...VAL IS BAAAAD AND NOT A DINOSAUR BY ANY MEANS....VAL IS A SEASONED VETERAN IN THIS BUSINESS WHO HAS EARNED THE RESPECT AND RECOGNITION THAT THIS PROJECT DESERVES AMONG THE "STUFF" OUT THERE NOW ON THE AIRWAVES!.
