Very well produced album from one of my favorite death metal bands. To me, this album has shown an evolution in dying fetus from when they first started. The technicality is unbelievable. The drums are what makes this album contain that hardcore punk feel, John and Sean's vocals are fantastic. Brutal and guttural as always, and they know how to put the message out. Not one song I don't like on this album. Really loving new material from old bands

Very brutal album by a very brutal band, the album is slow where it needs to be and fast where it needs to be. Possibly my fav straight up death metal of all time

You listen to the first track, and you say to yourself, well they just played what has to be the best track right at the beginning, then the next track just crushes. The whole album is this way. It's astonishing how these guys came up with so many great musical ideas in what many people think is the narrow, constricted niche of death metal. For whatever reason, this is the most listenable DM record I've heard, it's got great riffs, and the lead singer's growl is insanely good, it's got a groove to it, I guess that's one way to put it.
