Blockhead, Bonobo, and Emancipator pretty much dominate the downtempo/electronic genre. Buy this if you enjoy either of these artists
  • Blockhead's best?

While I'm not hearing any simple standout tracks like "You've got Maelstrom," I have to say this is probably Blockhead's best work as a whole. The songs all have an easy groove, but they don't lose the drama/intellect that Blockhead brings to his music. There are less obtrusive vocal samples (which I don't like on some of his work) and the songs seem to stay on point a little better than in some of Blockhead's other albums. If you like the man's work, or other artists like Bonobo and Emancipator, then you owe it to yourself to buy this.

As with his previous albums, this one is great start to finish. A must own for any modern music fan!
