Diamond in the Ruff

From the moment I put the first song on till the very end, I felt as though I was with him thru the good times and the struggles. I felt myself wanting more. Hopefully he'll drop another jewel after this one ASAP. This CD is one of those that you can feel his pain and struggles. Yet the party songs let you know what California is all about. Mirage

The West has bided it's time, it's waited. I haven't had the pleasure to truly say I can put a CD on repeat since such great albums as 2001, Restless, and Tha Streetz iz a Mutha. If you want some slow rider music, that hard hitting bang-it-in-your-stereo music, that straight up represent the West Coast and not be ashamed anymore music, then you need to get a copy of this album. You will NOT be disappointed. C-Band's lyrics are sharp and on point. His featured artists give a nice mix into it, and they are kept exactly as they are meant to be, featured artists, meaning they won't be drowning out the album where 2/3 of the entire album is just featured artists. C-Band shows he can stand on his own two when it comes to making a hot album. How far is he gonna take it? Only time can tell with this one...
