This next offering from Allegaeon is just as inspirational and technically brilliant as their previous album and EP. I wish I had a better musical vocabulary so I could do this review justice. Just check them out - you won't be sorry you did.

Amazing band. Itunes tracks 4 and 5 are backwards. Track 8 cuts off after 40 seconds. I didnt pay my hard earned cash for a screw up.

I neither liked or loved this album upon first listen. In fact i found it extremely generic and unoriginal. But after awhile it grew on me. And while it is still definitely FAR from being original, the band as a whole is pretty tight and good at what they do. Not a masterpiece, or highly original, but its ok.

I cannot think of anything to say about this album/band that wont come out as a severe understatement. The only thing i can really say is AMAZING. Since their EP, these guys have continued to raise AND surpass my expectations with flying colors. Ryan and Greg are great guitarists, among the best I've ever heard. Crazy riffs and even crazier solos, you won't be disappointed. Ezra's intense vocals are backed by well written lyrics. If you enjoy this genre at all, give them a chance. If you find you don't like it, listen again. You won't regret it.

Waited a long time for this record and I was not disappointed. To say these dudes have chops is a massive understatement and it's not just their impressive shredding that stands out, it's their ability to write great head banging metal tunes. It's technical, melodic, aggressive, and down right nasty. Get this record now!
