Bikers Welcome Ladies Drink Free

For the past 30 years most of what has been considered "country music" has in actuality been nothing more than a bland, boring and predictable hybrid of pop music combined with occasional country cliches. Very few exceptions have been offered. This new album by Al and Company is a very pleasant surprise. "Bikers Welcome and Ladies Drink Free" is a long anticipated side project by Ministry's Al Jourgensen. It is truly a wonderful recording of solid exciting heavy Country Western music played in true barn burning style. The songs are so incredibly infectious it's impossible to stop tapping your feet hours after listening to them. Given Ministry's recent history this is not the type of recording one would expect from the leader of one of the most influential industrial metal bands however those who have been fans of Al since the beginning should be aware of his ability to periodically dramatically reinvent his approach.
