this is a great album for what it is, a young band with a low budget. People who are fans of anthony green may be a little disappointed because he sounds different, but this cd is to anthony green what ghost runner on thirds album was to jonny craig, nothing compared to them now, but still good listening.
  • Definitely not 5 star quality

Not gonna lie, I accidentally bought this album because I searched for Saosin and this came up. Gave it a try and listened to a few songs, and all I have to say is it's average if that. The first song is literally 2 chords played over and over again, the sound quality is poor, and the singer is off pitch half the time. Seriously, just stick with Saosin. Guys, the rating system is for rating whether or not a review is helpful. You do NOT rate it not helpful because you're a fan of the band and I gave them a poor review.

being that this is anthony greens early work its not going to be the best work ever done, but it is still catchy. i suggest you listen to # 9 caus its the best song on the album. and if you didnt know like that one dude wrote when he said stick to saosin...this is the same vocalist, anthony green (saosin, circa survive, high and driving, jeer at rome)

i was really surprised that itunes had this cd. anthony green is one of my favorite vocalists. his songs are so creative and he sings with such energy, it's hard not to like him. as an anthony green fan, this is a must have. however, i don't really listen to it that much. it's from his early days and the songs do have a rough, unpolished recording sound to them. if you like it though, check out silversun pickups. they have a similar sound to some of these songs. and also, check out high and driving. it's anthony's current solo project and it's not on itunes but you can find them somewhere else i'm sure. and if you haven't had a chance to see anthony at a show....you should. it's honestly amazing.

I expected more honestly. I had heard good things about it from a number of people but it fell short of my expectations.

This cd is only really okay. The guitars aren't very good, and the vocals are poor. It is cool to see how far a person can go and how much they can improve with a few years work. This is okay for what it seems to be, a local highschool bands recording.
  • Amazing but could be better

this is a good cd dont get me wrong but it has that garage sound system feeling that is not reaching the fullest sound it could get. and plus the voice is off sometimes yea. but Gooooood cd check it out. peace.

Audience of One's CD is a good one if you are into the emo genre largely, and especially if you are a fan of Anthony Green's later projects, namely Saosin and Circa Survive (Green also plays guitar in this band for those curious.) All 10 tracks are really full of emotion, and definitely have a Saosin feel to them, especially "The Icarus Ambition" and the title track. My favorite track on the album has to be the title track, it's very short (as are many songs on here) but it is very well done. The production value on the album is a little subpar because it was produced by a smaller label. I highly recommend this CD for people looking for a little different style of the emo thing.
