Tommy plays all the instruments on this album except for the drums (played by Denis Bostok who played with Tommy & Jeff in Bar 7). This is what Tesla has been missing since dropping Tommy; that hard-rock attitude and guitar riffs to contrast Frank's playing. I still love Tesla but Tommy kept them from being too content and reserved. He helped keep them balanced on the edge. There no better proof of that than this album and also Bar 7. Please keep them coming Tommy. Some of us fans get you still love and appreciate your music. Hope this helped you exercise some demons.

I have been waiting patiently to acquire this album for quite sometime. I have followed the entire members of the band through Bar 7 (Jeff & Tommy), Moon Dog Mane (Frank) and Soul Motor (Brian). This being Tommy's first post-Tesla album, I present him the "three cords out of five" for his efforts. The Pro - 1) The musically and/or instrumentally of each of the tracks are second to none! 2) Fist clinching, pedal to the floor driving and no looking back. 3) Great song in I Left The Circus Today (the elephant is Brian and the monkey is Troy. Who is the bearded lady - Jeff?). Also love the Garden! The Con - The lyrics and vocals. Lyrics - 1) Too much rhyming - for awhile I thought Tommy went from hard rock to rap. 2) Very garage band writing skills. Vocals - The levels of his vocals are too low - so low that you can't really understand what he is saying. Overall, if you are an avid fan of Tesla and of the members (past and present), support and purchase this solo album of Tommy's.
