I don't usually listen to New Age or much "ethnic" music beyond a bit of Klezmer, though I'd say my tastes range widely. My mother bought this album for me, probably because she views me as so "far out" or maybe it was recommended to her by a clerk in an "artistic" shop. The music is actually lovely, and, though I don't understand the language well enough to sing the words, I find myself humming the tunes in my daily life. The sounds are hauntingly beautiful. Most telling of all, this is the music I chose to have playing while I gave birth to my second child. There was someone so empowering about it, and it spoke very clearly of the feminine divine, which was the power vibe I needed to get through the marathon of natural childbirth! It was on repeat for several hours. No idea if it drove the attending staff nuts, but my heavy metal husband can still tolerate it.

This album Let's my spirit flourish with the beauty of her voice. She has a melodic sound that brings a peace over all things while she sing. This is one of the best native musical songs I've heard Worth every dime. Highly recommended. Enjoy it as I do. Your spirit will be renewed
