This cd by these three incredible musicians was the soundtrack to the best time of my life, so far. Aja Gianola-Norris has a voice that makes me want to melt every time I hear it. I could listen to her and only her for the rest of my life and be happy. Daniel Gianola-Norris and Ed Goldfarb sound absolutely amazing, the trio fits so perfectly together. It is rare for me to hear trumpet playing as impeccable as Dan's, and that's coming from someone who has grown up around trumpet players. One of my favorites off this albums is "La Diva de L'Empire". I highly recommend this album to, not only classical music lovers, but anyone who is looking for a new soundtrack to accompany the whimsical (sometimes stressful) days of their life.

If you've ever had the experience of wandering through a park on a lazy Sunday afternoon and happening upon a beautifully unexpected concert then you have a good starting point for Aja and Dan’s latest release, Food of Love. This eclectic collection of music spans everything from Tom Waits to JS Bach. Aja's lovely voice is entrancing throughout, Dan’s agile trumpet is the perfect companion, and Ed’s stunning piano is amazingly subtle and perfectly matched. I especially enjoyed Dan’s stylish rendition of Charlier’s second etude. Aja and Dan obviously enjoy making music and I think their album is perfectly titled. It is clear that for them both, music is as essential as food and love.
