One of the great albums and bands of recent memory. It's pretty much impossible to get sick of this album, or any of their albums at that. I have loved this music for a while now, and then I saw them in concert last week. WOW! The raw emotion Samuel puts into both the albums and their shows is almost unprecedented. A must have!

I really, really wanted to like this album, but there was just something it lacked after having loved "In Evening Air." The beats are steadier and slower, but wind up sounding kind of complacent. The lyrics are didactic many times, rather than emotion-packed lyrics easy to relate to. This album kind of sounds like Future Islands' sound grown old and living in a retirement community imparting sad advice.

This album is in line with their recent, great works. If you enjoyed In Evening Air you'll love this album. Every song has a moment of climax, some subtle, some more vivid. For me, this music resonates and speaks to my senses fully. I'm already excited for their next album.
