One of the few albums I listen to from start to finish. Has an awesome zeppelin vibe to it. Lead singer is a young Robert plant. Great album. Prefer it over the first album. Great band!!
- Excellent Band

This band is evolving on their own and in their own time! Their first album was phenomenal and their second reflects good growth with more to go!

The reviews for Crow read "Sounds like (insert reviewer's favorite 70s rock band)", and although that might be fun for you grandpa, a band needs to find it's own sound to be relevant and not just mimic your nostalgic faves of yesteryear. I agree Crow sounds like a blend of old rock. Dogs sounds like no one I have ever heard before. It is sounds simple, but layers beautiful melodies to create interesting harmonies. The experiments in rhythm and confidence in vocals are what sets this apart from Crow. This band could have taken the same road all of these new bands have done and towed the 70s rock line, but they didn't. Every great band has experimented with their sound, recreated their sound to become completely unique. If this band had hit before the over saturation era, they would be a U2 or the equivalent popularity-wise. Thank you Parlor Mob for trusting the process. It lead to incredibly great music.
- Better than the average rock album, but a step down from their last

This is a good album. In fact, I learned about The Parlor Mob through the songs on this CD. If this were their only album, I would still love them as a band and be waiting for their next release.
But this isn't their first album, "And You Were A Crow" is. And once I found that one, I realized it was so good that this has to take a back seat to it. While that first had a jagged, yet melodic tone; reminiscent of the good ol' Led Zeppelin while still blending modern styles, this album has bit less bite and seems a little 'poppier'. That's not to say that this is a pop album by any means- just that it's closer to one than their last album was.
So Parlor Mob, if by some crazy chance you happen to read this review, know that you've got at least one fan here who'd love to see you move back in that direction!
- Great album start to finish

Wow. One word to sum up this album is just wow. The Parlor Mob came out of nowhere bringing the world some classic/hard rock with their debut album "And You Were A Crow, " and now they've gone even further. Clearly showing amazing musical evolvement over their past few years of touring, they've released an album that puts other rock bands to shame. To me, this album is not only better than releases from rock legends such as the Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers, it blows them out of the water. The pure grit and raw rock n' roll mixed with elements of indie rock, progressive rock, and hard rock make this album definitely worth the title of iTunes Rock Album of the Year. (Although I'd say it even deserves Album of the Year). You will NOT be disappointed by this album, in fact, you'll find yourself unable to stop listening to it. Support these guys and go see their shows now, because in the very near future they are gonna be playing sold out stadiums. Dogs will truly change your musical ear…
