I'm glad there are still albums like this coming out . Jack White does an amazing drum track on Write me a few lines. Seasick Steve is awesome, I want more.

This a great album. Certainly in the top 5 Blues albums for 2011. Worth your time and worth your dime.

I don't like the laziness of your music. It makes me sick.
  • Quality American Roots Music

This is quality American roots music. This album is rugged and has an edge to it. You play this when you're traveling the back roads. "Treasures" has a haunting feel to it, while "Back in the Doghouse" and "What a Way to Go" showcase the raw energy and possibilities for American roots music. Don't waste your $ on commercial radio-ready garbage--get back to your roots.

I discovered Seasick Steve by watching his performance via the 2011 iTunes Festival app. He blew me away! Apple, PLEASE release an EP of his 2011 iTunes Festival performance. I'd buy it twice!

Why would someone mention Joe Bonamassa in a Seasick Steve CD review?????????? Not even close to being the same type of music. This is good stuff.......Bonamassa is good stuff. I just don't get it with some people

Seasick Steve isn't Joe Bonamassa.....he's more. Technique doesn't make great blues, soul and emotion does. Seasick Steve has more soul and feeling in his music than most. Great stuff...check it out.
