Hymns to the Hear and Now will have you belting out a tune one moment, tapping your toes the next, then thinking, "I've been there", "I know her", "I know what you mean" and loving every minute of it. Original, clever lyrics set to melodies that stick with you long after the tune is over. I must say that Bunkie (his mom) was captured very well and with love on Blanche Dubois meets Lucille Ball, miss her every time I hear it. Looking forward to next disc thought I"ll never tire of this one. ~tanya

This is a fantastic album. The artist is so talented; writing and performing the songs. I love that the songs are so easy to identify with as they are written about real life situations. One of my favorites on the album, Blanche Dubois Meets Lucille Ball, was written as a sort of tribute to his mom. It's funny and quirky and just makes me smile when I listen to it. If I close my eyes while listening to Long Torn Veils, I can imagine myself sitting under a beautiful old oak tree with the Spanish Moss hanging all around me like long veils. Just like his album, Azalea, I'll be listening to this album for a long, long time.
