Sounds like my 3 year old cousin found a keyboard and started pressing buttons... Just this album tho. Not sure if the dude did too much acid or just lost touch with reality but this is horrible. #fail

This Album was ahead of its time, I think people are JUST NOW really catching up with it.
Amon Tobin is obviously a time traveller.

Mr. Tobin lost me with this album….I was much into his organic trippy sound, but this became too much glitchy skippy skittery electronica for me. It’s at once too intellectual and too harsh on the senses in the high end. Surely a lot of work and effort went into this album, so I do not wish to dismiss Tobin’s skills; however, the results are simply unpleasant.

I can't believe the sounds that are entering my ears.

This crunchy-scratchy stuff makes me want to drop an anvil on the turntable. The least you could do is throw in a cougar or a rhino to disperse the tension that builds up after ten tracks of pure navel gazing. Thousands of other DJs are doing this stuf and nobody's listening to their versions either. It's great to learn how to make every mundane sound imaginable. But it ain't fun for anyone other than you. This is awful, I can not comprehend how some people call this music, totally unbearable. Trentemoller, Mike Sheridan and Lulu Rouge are ten times better.

i had never experienced motion sickness induced by music before listening to this album. i wanted so bad to enjoy this work - but after a few months of dipping my toes into this pond of sound, i am convinced that there is really nothing to like within it. it's like looking at an empty picture frame and trying to admire the artfulness of the work for its lacking presence of art. the lack of art "is" the art, some may say. and i will respectfully disagree. there is no art here… just technique and repetition.

Lots of twists and turns. I'd only listened to Foley Room before this…and in my book this is WAY better. Reminded me of an amusement ride. It's nice to hear someone explore the less somber side of electronic music!
