I fell in love with this band within 30 seconds of hearing them. I havent been this excited over a band in a while, katies voice is amazing!! Which i think makes austra stand out compared to other electronic type music.You must buy this album!!

There's not a single bad song on this album. So unique, and Katie's voice is absolutely mindblowing. I've listened over and over...and over again, and it hasn't come close to getting old. I'm so happy to have found such an original-sounding band. Highly recommend!

i am seeing them live next week, how lucky i feel! it's a shame they are opening for cold cave, when it's obvious they are the better band by 10x. as a matter of fact, this band blows away most of the other synth-based groups of the past year. i don't get why when a group like this comes around people compare it to average quality commercial stuff like gang gang dance. the closest resemblance of austra is by far ZEIGEIST and THE KNIFE, both swedish groups and particularly the former. i suppose canada is the new sweden! A+

If you like Fever Ray, Florence, the Knife and Zola Jesus (Sea Talk is amazing if you haven't heard), you'll flip over this album. Knew instantly after 30 seconds and bought the album.
