No Land's Man - EP

"The Nerve" is one of my favorite songs and the remix is even cooler! They have done a great job with keeping true to their original sound.

Don't let the light track load fool you, this EP makes like a stone carving on the soundscape of time. A masterful blending of acoustic with light electronic sounds, pure lyrics and an emotionally moving production can hardly sum The Republic Tiger's 'No Land's Man'. Stand-out tracks include "The Infidel" and "Merrymake it With Me." If 'No Land's Man' is any indication, we've come across what will have to be one of the best 'sleeper' bands of this decade. Four months after it's release, 'No Land's Man' is still thoroughly satisfying. We look forward to the up-coming LP.

This band never fails to deliver such great music for the ears! My favorite song is "Lonely As I Was" by far! I just love how they switch between styles in that song and I hope that this will be a preview to how they are going to approach their next album. Great job guys!

I have to disagree with other reviewers who did not like the remix of The Nerve. I thought remix is just what a remix should be, different and creative. I really liked the new songs too, can't wait to get the full album. Seems like it's been decades since the last one came out! GO TIGERS!!!

The Tigers finally send us an appetizer for their new CD to come. Great Tiger-esque harmonies, backgrounds, nuances. Infidel and Merry really strike me as delivering their classic sound. As usual, it takes 4 listens or so to begin discovering all the subtle treasures embedded in the tunes. Well done, and bring on the rest!

More excellent music from The Republic Tigers. There are moments that just amaze like on The Nerve (Nervous Dancing) at 3:55. There's a lot of good music out there but TRT continues to stand out. Spend your daily coffee allowance on this EP for a more gratifying fix! If you can, try to hear these guys live!

Love that they are continuing the fabulous harmony. Looking forward to the full-length album coming later this year! Have to agree with the other reviewer.... Not so much thrilled with the remake of The Nerve, but the other three are outstanding. Infidel is definitely my favorite.
