i love the simple minds version, and the breakfast club is hands down my favorite movie of all time, so when i saw this i was a little skeptical. But David Cook did great! He made this song his own with a cover that wasn't blah, and it's hard to do that!

He such a great singer! I wish people would listen to his music more, his songs are great! I'm glad the other David didn't win.... The only reason that he made it to the top of American Idol was because a bunch of Tweens were voting for him, not because he could sing....

At first, I could've sworn it was Trent Reznor singing...and was amazed at the range that David Cook has, I missed that season, so Ive only heard bits and pieces of his abilities here and there, but I love the way he redid this song. Great!
