The advance of this (from quite a while back I might add), had an extra song - Overnight Success. Wonder where it went or what happened. Either way, it's a solid album. Rick came out during that "hat act" era of the early 90's, and sadly disappeared with it. Glad he got this out there to his fans!

Classic Trevino on every track. My favorites here are "Better in Texas," with its great brass orchestrations, and "Separate Ways," which gets me misty-eyed.

If you like real country, you will like this album. Seperate Ways is a ballad that will tug at your heart if you have ever been in love. Whole Town Blue and Loving you Makes Me a Better Man are two great mid tempo songs. And the other songs are good also. This is a great comeback album.

Rick Trevino has always been a true country artist in the Texas mold, creating great, easy to listen to music with a little touch of Mexican influence. It's been very sad that country radio refuses to play his music any more, but he doesn't fit the new mold with earrings, scruffy look, etc of the "hunk of the week" set. Just buy his music and enjoy the experience anyway, forget about radio.
