This Long Time Coming

Wow i am very impressed with burn season on this record. I give them a lot of credit because they didn't really change their style and stayed true to themselves. I agree with the other person who can't believe this album came out in 2011. Me neither! It definitely feels like it should have been released like sometime between 2001-2006. Either way it rocks and I'm very happy with this. Good job guys!!!

I'm so suprised that this album came out in 2011. Why i say that is becuase the style they are playing they did back in 2006 for their first record. I personally like that type of music so more of the same is alright thus far. I feel this album could easily be better then the previous. There are lots of catchy post grunge melodies that caught my ear when i was passively listening. This album is worth the hear for sure so "buy" it. Give this band some recognition. They deserve it.

This was my firat time listening to this band and i must say im really im really impressed i ended up getting both their albums.

As you may have read from my review on the first album, Burn Season (so we thought) was over. Also, I said maybe if they realized they were missed, they'd come back. I'm not bragging, please don't consider this as bragging. This is nothing compared to the first album, yet still 5 Star quality. Anyways...the album kicks off with the song Out of Control. Kind of techno sounding at first, but is great. It reminds me of Society Red a little bit, too. This would've been "Ending" if it were on the last album. Monday comes next, and is probably one of the best hits on the album. Next is Fight, and I must say this is the "Falling" if it were on the last album, and Falling was a great song. (And still is.) I also note that on this album, iTunes remembered to mark some songs as explicit. Ceiling comes up, and kicks off being a little soft until the actual thing. Brilliant. Happened To Me is another hit, also a main hit on the album. Complications has a wicked cool guitar sound at the beginning. This song can be very hard and very soft...excellent. Devotion is yet another great song, probably the best on the album along with Monday and Happened To Me. Strange is...well...strange...and...I LIKE IT. Difficult would be the "Perfect" from the other album, and is another great song, however, iTunes forgot to mark it explicit. It may be soft, but it does drop an f-bomb. Whatever. Who cares if there's profanity? If it's good, it's good. In some cases it makes songs better. The Best Thing...it is one of the best things. But why is it quiet? Whatever. Any Harder is a great song, and there's some...uh...radio sound at the beginning, maybe? The album finishes with Suffering, and although you may expect it to be hard, it's not, which is too bad, they probably should have another hard song in here. Still an awesome song though. If you're still reading this, you're wasting your time. Why? Because indirectly this review is telling you to buy the album... Now go... Recieve your destiny...

This record is awesome, so glad that there is new Burn Season out there and I cant wait to hear more!
