I just saw David Wax Museum at a festival of world music and they completely stole the show. Best, most engaged live performance I have seen in years. The music sticks to your ribs like a warm hugging winter soup, and I find myself singing their harmonies as I go through the day. Creative instrumentation, but with a purpose - not hokey like so many indie bands these days. Excellent stuff.

If you think Mumford & Sons is good, you haven't yet heard David Wax. This band is by far the most original I've seen in any live performance and I can't stop listening to both of their recent releases, Carpenter Bird and Everything is Saved. Their music offers a wild variety of most all genres and intermixes two cultures, american and mexican, in a genius and engaging way. Cannot say enough about David Wax Museum.
