Long Cold Fall - EP

The Dirty River Boys are my new favorite band. These three gentlemen (Nino Cooper, Travis Stearns and Marco Gutierrez) have created a fantastic EP with elements of country, folk and bluegrass with a rock edge. These fellas completely amaze me what they can do with acoustic instruments. They also feature beautiful three part harmonies and incredible song writing skills. "Union Painter" and "So Long Elaine" are two beautifully written songs on this wonderful CD. In addition to these slower paced tracks, "Draw" and "Boomtown" make you want to get up and move. I would also strongly encourage you to check out their follow-up release, Train Station, as well. And if you have a chance to see them live, do it. Seriously, do it. It is the best show you could possibly see.

I saw this band in Lukenbach, TX a couple of weeks ago and was blown away. I had never heard of them before and asked myself why. This band has heart and takes pride in their music. I was very impressed with how diverse they are as musicians. They have great energy and are great to see live. I was hooked. I immediately went out after their performance to their booth and picked up cd's and a t-shirt. They were humble guys and were kind enough to sign a cd for me. I will make it a point to go see them again!

The DRBs are phenomenal musicians and entertainers. They write solid lyrics, catchy songs and they are just hands down fun to watch live. I can listen to this album on repeat over and over, and my wife and I find ourselves looking forward to seeing them again. They are very cool dudes, too.

I saw these young men play in Clinton Tennessee and it was the best free show I've seen in a long time. I bought this album there and had them autograph it which they did without me asking. They truly do enjoy the music and know its about the fans. Thanks guys.
