The first track Dead Flag Blues is by far one of the bleakest track I’ve ever heard. “The cars on fire and there’s no driver at the wheel.” I been wanting to write lyrics like this for something I been working on. “We are all trapped in the belly of the machine and the machine is bleeding to death.” Bleak but, could be said about how we view life, government, or just the world in general. The track ends with the man talking about having blood in his wallet. A possible metaphor for the economy. Whoever wrote this channeled William S. Burroughs or the Rivers of blood tears of darkness speech. Truly a fascinating track. I’m still listening to a lot of this but, it’s interesting to say the least.

It’s a great album, but listening to it all at once can be depressing.

All I wanted to download was download was The Dead Flag Blues. Until I can do that without getting the whole album, you get none of my money.

Awesome music, so nice to see originality. As good as I've seen in terms of rock/post-rock and classical music fused together (along with sound art compositions). Beautiful stuff if you're not looking for instant gratification, this the kind of stuff you leave on and sink into.
  • Hauntingly beautiful.

An amazing "EP", F#A# •• takes you on a journey. It is an album that I can listen to all the way through everytime I press play. The three songs listed are actually comprised of multiple songs that are moved through seamlessly, much in the way Pink Floyd Would do, so that once you entered the sonic enviroment you can get lost in it. I'm not sure I should compare them to Pink though. This album is strictly instrumental with a few sound bites scattered throughout. They paint little pictures for you, then let you wander the landscapes you paint in your own mind. This album does not let down. GO GET LOST!

Just the most overrated recording you'll ever find, anywhere. It was totally huge at my liberal arts college 10 yr ago; I expect they've moved on to Vampire Weekend or the Panda Grizzly Collective by now.

"The car's on fire and there's no driver at the wheel..." I love that guy's voice. You get the feeling you are lost in the southwest and he's a shaman in some post-apocalyptic haze. "I open up my wallet, and it's full of blood."
