Sophia Bush and Austin have shown this generation that there are so many ways we can give back and do something to improve our lives and the lives of others around us and our environment. Music is the key and they found it. Great album!!!

If you had the songs available for individual sale you would make more money for the charity. I am a dance teacher .. i love a few songs and would introduce them to my classes - they would then purchase them as well .. i do not enjoy the entire album therefore I will not be purchasing anything at all .. instead of making a little money you're making none. Just a thought.

By the birds foot is so tragically sad and haunting. Dallas green does an amazing job. It's too bad it has to be a true story and yea 100% of the proceeds do go to global green. In an interview Sophia bush said she was very particular about making sure ALL the funds go to the gulf.

...who 'don't want to wait, sit, and hope' :) What an amazing album. Great start with Amy Kuney -- i can see why they named the album after her song. Sophia Bush + Austin Nichols = wish the best for them -- what a beautiful album they started up -- and thanks to all the musicians & artists out there who gave their work for this project. To the guy who rambled on about celebs not doing anything except tryna make themselves feel good -- who are you... to judge the hearts of those who want to do anything for our world. For those who want to make a difference by getting donations via iTunes, why not? I get so tired of the self-righteous argument of: "they just want our money and they do nothing... why cant we just donate w/o even having a benefit cd?" Why can't we have both? What's so wrong about artists wanting to help out by giving a little bonus to those of us who want to give just $10 to help out in the spill. And yes $10 isn't going to change the world. But why not-- for those who would give anyway (which is your argument, right) -- why not give them some music to bless them w/. Something to inspire and move them. Why not? It's also confusing when you make a big deal about spending $10 and not getting to pick and choose the songs you want. You already said that the whole point of this is to donate money to the spill. So why the fuss about picking and choosing what you'd want to spend your money on. $10 is not too much to give. And if you think so, then don't spend it. If you don't have $10 then that's fine. But don't go and shoot down the efforts of others (yes, even celebs) -- who just want to do anything to help out. You're so caught up in motive that you've missed the point. You feel so cheated by not getting to donate/spend however much you want -- that you're forgetting it shouldn't matter what you receive outta this anyway -- b/c like you said-- this is about giving back to the gulf. You have no idea the hearts of the people and artists behind this compilation... so don't start up just because they have millions that you don't see donated to different places. Because you really don't know what they do or where it goes. Not everyone has to announce who they help out and by how much. It's not your job to judge those who are actually... trying. Try encouraging those who wanna help -- even if you just think they do it 'to make themselves feel good'. Anyway. Sorry. Just had to reply to the guy who decided to buy an album to earn the right to complain. The music is worthwhile -- and 100% proceeds going to help out the spill... cant beat that. --sarahletran <><

I don't like all of the songs on this album. I wish I could buy just the ones that I like rather than having to buy the whole album.
