I loved this movie as a kid, and watching it now, I love it even more, because I can understand how dark it actually is. I love all the songs, but I’ve noticed that the song Worthless after I bought it here is a bit messed up around the surfer car around her second line compared to the movie, almost like it sped up slightly. Doesn’t detract enough to love listening to it, though. I recommend this album, especially the songs Worthless, B Movie, and Cutting Edge with all the power in my being! 10 Stars!
- Decent soundtrack, okay movie, not nearly as good as The Lion King.

The Brave Little Toaster was a movie I liked more when I was younger, but now, it’s just okay, but the soundtrack and songs were pretty good. The Lion King is a movie that I like now more than The Brave Little Toaster. Why? Better story, songs, characters, and animation. The Brave Little Toaster is a decent film, it’s funny at times, but it’s still hard to beat The Lion King!
- This rocks my socks!!

The movie itself is a classic, not only for kids, but for today's adult generation with dark hidden meanings about society. As for the soundtrack, it's good, but not "great". My primary complaint is how some tracks sound "muddy". "Worthless" for example, the refrain "Worthless, Worthless, Worthless" is so muddied up that you can't really make out the word. It's also very narrow stereo separation with a lot of reverb. But if you think about it, it suits the movie that was grainy and shaky quality. Nonetheless, the soundtrack is good, and it's definitely better than not having it at all. David Newman put together a masterpiece. "B-Movie Show" has a heavy organ on the track to give it more of a chilling feel, and the orchestral portions in "Worthless" are amazing. One thing to note though, the bikini's lyric is changed slightly. Good soundtrack though, highly recommend.

The music was a great accompaniment to the movie. The background music throughout the movie fit perfectly well with the melancholy shown in the film. The musical numbers represented a great combination of what I like to call "happy upbeat doom and gloom."
The hope was felt through the upbeat and adventurous song of "City of Lights."
The happy doom and gloom in "It's A 'B' Movie," along with the pipe organs, was an excellent showcase.
The feeling of expiration and redundancy in "Cutting Edge" was felt through its example of increasing updates in technology.
The fast paced sadness in "Worthless" was completely phenomenal.
It's a shame that some modern day kids and teenagers can't appreciate this movie and its music.
The kids and teenagers, now, expect certain characteristics from a kids movie and if that movie doesn't fit those certain characteristics than they don't want to watch it. Which is a shame because they are missing out on some terrific classic music from a great movie.
- I luv this movie

Growing up, I really loved this movie, and it still holds up well for me. I also remembered really loving the score, even as a kid. It's incredibly beautiful and emotional and it fits great with the movie and gives it a lot of atmosphere. I actually managed to get a hold of the CD before it was put on iTunes, and the liner notes tell of the effort that was put into this film AND in its music. David Newman apparently felt very close to it, and he gave it a dramatic approach to reinforce the serious nature of many of the themes in the movie. Wise choice, David!
If your a fan of this movie or looking for great film score in general, it's a must-have.
