  • Awesome EP

I find this EP more listenable than Cosmogramma was, or maybe just in a different way. "Kill Your Co-Workers" is by far the best track in my opinion, and has a dope animated video to go along with it. FlyLO recently tweeted about possibly being almost done with a new album, and if it continues in the direction this EP moved, then I'll buy it the second it comes out. 5 glowing stars.
  • Not bad; not quite Cosmogramma, but not bad

Seriously, though - spend a few extra minutes thinking of good song titles.

If you wanna go techno just tell us otherwise. GO BACK TO 1983!

Flylo broadens his musical scope into the arcade soundscape. He is becoming one with his electronic instruments. Listen to the indecent tones of "Kill Your Co-workers" for the most out-of-body experience.
  • This man could own the jungle scene.

I felt like this EP was different kind of return to form for Ellis. It goes back to the jungle roots he used to spin at Low End. Gotta say, I love the breaks in Kill Your Co-Workers. Yeah, it's not a fully "realized piece", but what EP ever is?
  • Really?

Im a fan but I'm not to enthused about this one. On a positive note, Cosmogramma still knocks.
  • Amazing!

First of all, I just want to mention that each album by Flying Lotus has involved evolution. He could make spacey hip/hop beats with mad flavor like in 1983 or unreleased stuff like Raw Cartoons or 38 Cartoons. Yet, by should he if he is evolving onto a higher plane of consciousness? I think that Pattern+Grid World is excellent! It's not as far out there as Cosmogramma(which I thought was crazy!). Yet, it definitely puts you into a drone-like haze. It's almost as if we are hearing the audio representation of what we are becoming more and more everyday: mindless drones without our own minds. WAKE UP!
