  • Great Album - Worth Every Penny

I've got a few hundred albums in my iTunes, but I keep coming back to this one. Solid, "roll down the windows and crank it" rock-n-roll. I've seen them live - they did a great job capturing their on-stage energy. Musically and lyrically, this is good stuff.

You must buy this album. The extra 3 songs in the deluxe edition are worth $2 so don't worry. This album reminds me of summer, and puts me in a weird emotional state that motivates me, saddens me in a good way and then raises me back up! One thing that really turn me on to this band, is their emotionally fueled anthems. American Bang is the perfect band in my opinion. Great value. 55 minutes of music that you can listen to thousands of times. Each song is different than the next.

bought this album on the recommendation of a friend. You can really hear Nashville rock writing at its best. Can't wait to hear more! Bet the live show is awesome...

First heard of this band off the show "Greek". At first, I thought Caleb Followill had left Kings of Leon to start a new project but google results lead me to this band. They definitely do sound a lot like the old Kings but it's very much a good thing. Nice to see southern rock make a comeback :)

This is a huge difference from the "Move to The Music" EP, and that's not a good thing. On the EP, they were hard rockers who sang out about making "a couple bad decisions" and a girl who has "her rock fist in the air and she ain't afraid to use it." But, what the hell is this generic garbage? This is more comtemporary country than rock n roll. Disappointing.

I've been waiting a while for this album to come out but when it did I was still on a roadtrip. Now classes have started and I've finally been able to buy it. If you like Kings of Leon then buy this album. Both bands are great and they both also take you to a nice place where you can remember what good music sounds like.

Saw them live this summer at Georges in Fayetteville, AR! They are great, one of the few bands that sounds as great as their cd!

They sound like a watered down Black Crowes. The singer couldn't on his best day affect Chris Robinson's blues rock holler and if you need a blues rock or southern rock fix there are plenty of better bands to seek out; The Dereck Trucks Band, Rival Sons, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Black Stone Cherry, Los Lonely Boys, The Arc Angels, etc.
