A friend of mine, who is also a friend of the band, took me to see them here in San Diego. I had never heard of them until my friend shared their music with me. Ryan Montbleau and his band are the real deal, pure musicians for our generation. I cannot believe their songs are not being played on mainstream radio. Honestly, though, I doubt that is their primary goal, and if they did become internationally famous they are the type of artists that would not change one bit because of it.

Heard songbird on Emerson's 88.9 and wrote it down and just downloaded the track. It is so good, I love the reggae feel to it!

I can almost guarantee you'll like the sounds of this band. Their songs are diverse and unique, their talent is crystal clear, and Montbleau's lyrics are sensational. This album is the band's best yet. See them live too!

Ryan and the band never disappoint. This album, along with all others, is absolutely phenomenal. Their sound is raw and REAL (hard to come by these days), and their lyrics are meaningful and heartfelt. All of their songs are unique and musically different, which makes for a great spread throughout an album. I would recommend this album and all of this band's albums to anyone who enjoys truly GOOD music. Simple as that.

I had the pleasure of seeing The Ryan Montbleau Band open for Martin Sexton in Syracuse. Since then I had purchased all their music, and was not disapointed. A very unique sound with something for everybody.

Ryan is one of my favorite performers and I'm tough judge of music from New Orleans who's seen hundreds of artists and done my fair share of playing. If you don't already know, Ryan is a brilliant artist with a rare combination of amazing vocals, well played guitar, and an incredible ability to weave a story with his lyrics. Buy this album and listen over and over, these songs are timeless masterpieces.
