    I was totally taken back by this seemingly raw album. After a more thorough listen it reveals many more layers to each song. I encourage a listener to tour the album completely so that you are taken from the more intellectual Weary Bones, surprised by Sirens, then through the visceral Priests and Presidents and back full circle to The Artist.

    This album blew me away from the first song to the last. I honestly can't say I have a favorite. Amazing music and stellar variety. This is a real "album" in the truest sense of the word. Some day my player will refuse to keep repeating these songs, until then, I'll be enjoying every minute.
