First heard this album on 91X FM in San Diego, CA. Wow! After enduring a decade of disco and plastic pop, finally music that tapped into the soul of musicians and their instruments. It was healing to hear what these artists were creating. Best of the best of this era. The House of Dolls album is as good as it gets. The vocals, percussion and guitars are genuinely mesmerizing. The harmony and creativity between them produces music and rhythms worth time and attention. The House of Dolls is an artisan work of genius and a record of what young people do best: create.
