It’s hard to believe Yo-Yo Maw consented to the shockingly abrupt cut-off at the end of “Gabriel’s Song.” Why would the producer permit this, then proceed to charge money for it on iTunes? A savage muck-up of gorgeous music. I’d give 5 stars for the performance but 1 star for the execution, hence my 3-star review.

What a beautiful, beautiful piece of compilation, but why do the tracks cut off in the end so abruptly? This was almost a 5 star rated album, but that one error needs to be fixed.

Wow. Yo-Yo Ma is brilliant. When I listen to his music it clams me and makes me cry at the same. His music is out of this world. God has blessed us with a truly wonderful gift of Yo-Yo Ma. Thank you God for Yo-Yo Ma. This album is a must for any Yo-Yo Ma fan. Just listening to it makes me cry because it is so gorgeous.

Lovely music but cannot fully appreciate. Stop selling crappy work. I paid only to listen to the song cut abruptly at the end. Ruins the experience.

My favorite album - I listen over and over. If you listen in order it's not too bothersome for the abrupt ending especially when you start expecting it. Yes it could have been done a little better but still this album is so moving it gives me goosebumps at times.

Worth it solely for the gorgeous “Once Upon A Time In America” music.

  • Beautiful Score, Horrible Formatting

This album is the epitome of timeless; a combination of the iconic works of cinema/television with compositions by the Italian composer, Ennio Morriccone, accompanied by world-renowned cellist, Yo-Yo Ma. Such a meeting would only result in a love letter to anyone with an ear for film scores. But let the buyer beware. To get to most from the album, please purchase it in full, and please refrain from using shuffle. Most of the works in this album transition to another, akin to a live performance. Such formatting results in awkward cuts, and random skips.
