He got me with his performance of "I'll Be". This was the first song I heard from him and now I love him! He's up with train and matchbox 20 in my opinion! He's a great artist!

I am a hard rocker at heart but there is something about Edwin McCain's music and talent that really touches my soul. This album is so worth buying.

not much more to say - if you like acoustic guitar anchored Americana rootsy soul rock (or whatever you want to call it), this album is one of the best of the 90s

I personally think that Edwin McCain is the most underated artist on Contempary music. There isn't a song he sings that doesn't touch some deep resonant chord in my soul. Not only is he vocally fantastic, he is a poet. Not just a songwriter, mind you, a true poet. Every single album is a gem. And on top of it all, he is just a really truly NICE human! Love the man! Love his music!

My sister turned me onto this album and I Love! Love! Love! it. I really love the song Beautiful Life I can listen to it over and over! it has great rhythm and a good story (like all his songs if you listen to the words) another favorite once I got past that song was Prayer for St. Peter. It to me is about the soldiers that protect our country and then some! I don't have any family that does, but this song made an impact on me in so many ways! I love it! I have been looking out for anything new by Edwin but am so disappointed that he hasn't released anything new recently but I'm keeping my ears open!
