If you do not want to lose respect for modern "rap" music then do not listen to this album.

Del`s delivery is one u can listen to for a whole album w/o getting tired. The problem with this album is its missing production."You`re in Shambles"is the hardest song on the LP,so it starts off right, but the album gets lost somewhere between Muddy Concepts and lack luster beats. The first album was more commercial, but it was an ALBUM.This seems like Del tried to make a gritty album to make up for the commercial joint he released. All in all,if you`re a Del fan you will like this album. Most of us are used to tuning out beats at times,to hear the clever, deep voiced MC.Del could`ve been at the top w Nas,Jay z,Andre 3000 etc if he would have spent more time or money on production. But he will only be a slept on success,in a time when MC`s now get millions! The Album is good enough, because He is talented, but it could`ve been better.

This album was the soundtrack to my life during 94-95. I'm doing my best to catch up on all of Del's stuff. So far I like what I've heard, but, No Need For Alarm is some of his best work. A MUST BUY IF YOU LOVE REAL 90's HIP HOP.
- Del - good producer/ MC!

I like how he does the trumpet beats, you don't hear that today, as for lyrics del hasn't Lowered at all since he released I Wish My Brother George was Here. Great Album!!

Del at his best! Flow is unmatched. The beats are right, and you just can't hear anyone who's been on par since.
