The Dickies are now, as they've always been, the coolest band ever to play someone else's song! The Dickies play any song they cover as though it were their own, and in the case of "Nights in White Satin", better than the original by a million miles. The song originally was a terrible AOR song from a horrible time in music, and the Dickies cranked it up to sound like a Dickies song only better! I am sure the Moody Blues felt like they had slowed down a Dickies song and ruined it, even though they wrote and recorded it first. As for the "Banana Splits", simply classic Dickies! "Paranoid" again is waaaaaaay better when played by the Dickies, just a simple fact. I have seen The Dickies over 30 times from 1983 up until two weeks ago, and they are the most underrated and under appreciated band in the history of rock. The Dickies are power pop punk rock n' roll at it's finest!

I was watching the movie Kickass... when the gruesome fight starts with the little girl, the Banana Splits theme by the Dickies comes pumping out totally unexpectedly... we remember the Masque in December 1977

If you're a Dickies fan, you've no doubt heard these songs, but here they are again, redone, in a really high quality recording. I'm amazed how good they sound after all these years! Definitely a great buy for anyone who enjoys the Dickies, and who wants to hear some high quality studio work from what I think is one of the most underrated punk bands ever.
