There are some fantastic gems in this album, a ton of potential in this band. I particularly like the feel of Michelle and Radar, there is something very catchy to both of those songs, but the composition of nearly every song radiates a mature musical vision, with a great understanding of how to weave enjoyable melodies with solid lyrics. Looking forward to the next one!

I love this new cd!! It's a very well blended soft rock/country/Jazz!! It has all the makings of a #1 album. I have it and listen to it all day!! It's an album you won't want to stop listening to! I have fallen for them. Favorite songs are Looking for Love and That Girl! The Retreat is really a TREAT!

This album is absolutely fantastic! The lyrics are thoughtful and well written, the melodies are interesting and fun to listen to, and the instrumentation is very creative, dynamic and energetic! My personal favorites are: That Girl, Summertime, Looking for Love, Lost and Found and Radar. The song I enjoy the most is: Waiting. This album is definitely one you want to have in your music library!

This album is fantastic through and through. It embraces what we have loved about pop music over the past several decades, but have lost due to a focus on making a quick buck rather than making music that everyone can really relate to on a deeper level. Taking acoustic rock and melding influences of soul and country, the guys and gal of The Retreat have created an album that spans multiple areas of music and emotion. Beautiful through and through, I thoroughly recommend it to you.
