No many hits in this collection, but that's really the beauty! A must for any fan of vintage surf. Great vintage tunes that find lots of time on my player. I still love surf hits, but turn to this more often. Many of these artists helped to create the socal surf/instro genre - the vibe is here!

If you really are in to surfin music from the 50's and 60's get the Ventures "Surfin" album from 1962. This was one of my favorite albums in my collection when I was a teen.

There is one gem here, Paul Johnson's Tsunami. The rest are covers or filler that were never surfin' hits that I know of.

To me this disc is about 90% incredible. I love the selections from Al Garcia & The Rhythm Kings. You can't go wrong if you love surf instrumentals.
