Dwell

Kristi Jo is a unique talent. What I love most about this album is its raw honesty. A lot of her songs deal with the struggles and rewards of love. They expose emotions that are universal, and yet somehow they still feel deeply personal. "Dwell" is a good balance of upbeat and mellow tunes. Some of my favorites are "Everything's OK", "Ride Away", and "Loving You". While this album is very much a reflection of the experiences and emotions of today's twenty-somethings, I believe listeners of all ages can relate and appreciate these songs. I've been to so many of Kristi Jo's live shows in LA and Long Beach and she never fails to give a refreshingly heartfelt performance.

i have been following kristi jo for the last few years and have seen her perform live many times. she's an amazing performer who connect with her audience. i purchased her cd at her cd release party, which i was fortunate enough to attend, and i seriously couldn't stop listening to it over, and over again! i love this cd so much that i have gifted it to many of my friends and family, who are now fans of her music. give it a listen from beginning to end... i can't imagine how anyone with any musical inclinations could not enjoy this cd!!

I've been listening to Kristi Jo for years on myspace and other sites and I'm glad she finally has an album out. I think this album is really good but I really love her live/acoustic music more. You can really feel her in the live music. One other note is that she has changed the names of some of her songs. The music I downloaded and bought from other sites have different names but are the same songs. All and all its worth buying this album and I look forward to her next.

Kristi Jo's music is inspirational and very enjoyable. Her album hangs right in there with some of the best signed female artists around. If you have a problem with her music, maybe you are jealous of her immense guitar skills, her sultry inspiring voice, or you are just a jealous ex girlfriend and the songs ping that dark spot in your heart. Give her music a chance, and if her music was playing on a grocery store soundtrack I would be rocking out and singing all the words so everyone can hear. Enjoy!

kristi jo's "dwell" is nothing but an immature, thoughtless waste of time. her music is annoyingly generic and seems to never generate new subject matter. kristi jo is always on the mend from some kind of tragedy in her songs. i'd love to know what kind of events inspire this kind of musical mediocrity. anyone with their full oratory system functioning will see this album for what it truly is.. crap.

GetFolky- You're out of your mind! Dwell is a great collection of songs and I am happy every time I listen to it. My kids like it, I like it and if you don't think it's a good album, I'm not sure what you think is!! Don't listen to GetFolky-if you buy this you won't be disappointed!!

Instrumentally, the music is pleasant but the album suffers from lackluster melodies and skin-deep lyrics. Because nothing insightful is revealed through her music, the album itself is forgettable at best and annoying at worst, making it a perfect selection for a grocery store soundtrack.

This album is amazing i could not be happier! You are an amazing singer!!!

kristi jo truly takes a genre of music that is so often lack luster and streamlined and elevates it to an incredible level. the music is quality and the songwriting is even better; it's the kind of album you'll put on and before you know it it's played through twice. truly an excellent album from a very talented songwriter.

I seriously can't stop listening to this album!
