  • Simply Amazing

Every song is great and different. They're different from each other and the originals. The Susan B. Anthony Middle School Band is obviously the weak point, but they still did well overall. My favorites are Come Together and Octopus's Garden, but that's what I expected because those are two of my favorite Beatles songs. And with all the proceeds going to Music and Arts in schools, it's even better! (And the medley shows some schools could use a bit) MINNESOTA PRIDE!

This is such a great album from start to finish. yeah, the middle school band is not pro, but it does not have to be and just the fact that it is on the album is awesome. Satnd out tracks.....Nicholas Morzinski doing Across The Universe is pretty sweet and the Mark Mallman Fool on the Hill is excellent. Ice Palace track also very nice along with all the others. Great cause, great CD, BUY IT!

I'm going to be frank: this album is pretty consistent. Roma di Luna did a wonderful job, bringing their great indie spirit to a less popular song that those on the album. Each and every track is a beautiful thing in it's own right, and I think that this album confirms that Minnesotans aren't just a bunch of ice-fishing, hotdish-eating, cold-crazy morons. Minnesotans have talent!!! But I think that the previous reviewers, members of the Susan B. Anthony Middle School Concert (I am also a member, the drum set player) in particular, are blaming the weaknesses of the medley on the whole band rather than the one source of the problem: our trumpets SUCKED that year.

This album rocks not only because of the talent and already awesome Beatle tunes, but primarily because the proceeds from the sale of MBP albums go to fund Music and Art Programs in Minnesota schools. These schools are in desperate need of help to keep their music programs alive and this album is sure to keep Music Education going strong and instruments in students hands. My favorite track is "Across the Universe" by Nicholas Mrozinski. He is unbelievable!!! :-)

Being a member of the band, not to be bias, but we didn't want to play it and the teacher pretty much put it onto us. It turned out pretty bad, but other than that, good album.
  • This is great!

Ok, maybe Im biased, being part of the Susan B Anthony concert band, but I think all but our track was amazing! such a wide variety of music styles can Come Together in a great effort by local Minnesotan artists. Really worth a try for any Beatles fan!
