I purchased this cd because I owned the album years ago but there are at least two songs missing. One of the songs was on the album here on itunes a month ago and was included with my purchase -- "Dear Jesus" -- the other song is not listed on the itunes at all -- "What is this?" If you're expecting the full album -- beware. If you can tell me where I can find the songs (and why they're not included -- I'd love to know why. Would be 5 stars if all of the songs were here.

I can only thank God that I grew up in a time that gospel music was something you could feel in your bones! Love Alive and Love Alive II were ground breaking LPs. Walter Hawkins used the gifts that God blessed him with. He's in a better place now.

I watched a bio program about Walter Hawkins' music and life recently. The program mentioned his Love Alive albums. I recall my parents playing the Love Alive II album at home, and my childhood church singing songs from the album. That album reminded me how great "old", if you will, gospel music is, especially from a family that knows and lives gospel music. I had to download the album...it is one of gospel music great albums. My favorites are "Be Grateful" and "Right On". I highly recommend getting Love Alive II. The other Love Alive albums are good, but there's some special about the second album. BTW...I do miss Walter Hawkins. Rest in peace, my brother.

I grew up on Walter Hawkins music but I was one years old the year of this album release. My mom played his music constantly and I will agree, it feels like church when you listen to any of the Love Alive album recordings.I was a devoted fan of Walter Hawkins and I'm in shock of his death. It just doesn't make sense to me. It will take a long time for me to get past this. I love you Bishop Hawkins. I always wanted to meet you but I'm promised to see you in Heaven. You sang "I'm going away" on this album like you knew the number of your days on this earth.
