I just found him today on itunes and knew from the sample I would love his music. To me he sounds like a mix between Marc Broussard and Gavin Degraw. His vocals are great and the melodies of these songs are so catchy that I liked them all on the first listen (and that doesn't happen often for me). Artist like Nathan, Marc, Gavin, and so many more in this genre deserved to be played all over the radio, for they have far more talent then the crap we hear on the radio today. Please buy this CD and get these artist recognized. You won't be disappointed.

This album is absolutely incredible. I was a huge fan of his first one, and was afraid I would be disappointed with this EP. I shouldn't have thought that for a moment! From his smooth, sultry voice, to his blues-y piano tunes that get stuck in your head, to his heart-quickening lyrics, this album instantly connects with your soul and leaves you with goosebumps. I can't stop listening. Buy it now. You will not regret it!!!

I bought "Through Playing Me," Nathan's first album, after hearing him open for Marc Broussard in Greenville, SC. It was an incredible show and I have seen him in concert several times since then. This past summer, I heard him "Way Past Love" and "These Ol' Keys" in concert (before the CD came out) and I began counting down the days until its release. Andy Davis did an incredible job with production of this album, as it sounds completely natural and reflects Nathan's sound both on and off the stage. "These Ol' Keys" is a little more mellow than his previous album, but it's definitely a step in the right direction... extremely musical with addicting melodies that keep me coming back for more!!! LOVE it.

I love this album! I couldn't wait until I Need a Woman came out. I have heard it at shows a few times and absolutely loved it! All of the songs are great!
  • Fantastic second album!

I loved "Through Playing Me" and had very high hopes for this second album. It has far exceeded my expections. It's only five songs but they're all equally fantastic. You can feel the emotion in the title song "These Ol' Keys." "Brighter Day," "Way Past Love" and "I Need A Woman" are great songs to jam out to in your car. "Song for a Friend," like "These Ol' Keys" is a beautiful ballad, the music never overpowering the song. On a more personal note, I lost someone very close to me in September and I found myself listening to "Brighter Day" over and over. It really helped lift my spirits and picked me up when I was really feeling at my lowest. Nathan has that raw talent and energy that really touches people and I am glad to have had the chance to see him live.

I fell in love with Nathan's first album and this EP is an excellent follow up! The title track is an amazing blend of a wonderful voice and old school piano-ness. A beautiful hymn from a great artist. Would love to have another full length album soon.

I first found Nathan Angelo's music through an itunes reccommendation, and I was shocked to find that he only had one album available ! I'm so glad he's back, and this cd is nothing short of genius. Brighter Day is the higlight for me, but all the songs are equally delightful with fantastic melodies. For work I travel on a bus every few days, and his music is perfect travelling music that sets me dreaming everytime. Buy this and his first album, you won't regret it!
