I guess I'm a little late. Do you really care? I'm thinking no. By the way (notice I didn't use those teenage idioms ) lol. I think this album is adult, sophisticated, fun, and wild. Great job Serena!

Saw her a few weeks ago touring with OneRepublic. She sounds awesome live, great style. Definitely going places, watch out for this girl.
  • She sounds familiar... :)

When i first heard her music, i knew that she sounded like a mix between some artists, but i couldnt really put my finger on who it was.... Then it hit me, she's like a mix between Stevie Nicks, Adele and Janis Joplin... Some of my all time favorite singers!! No wonder why i completely fell in love with Serena's voice :D
  • Awesome!

The first song I ever heard was "Little bit of red", I watched her showcase the song at PACE. Just her and a guitar. The song was so raw and rockin. I have to be honest I dont like the studio version. I feel like "they" killed the fire that the showcase version had.
  • Another GG find!

Are you getting sick of my TV discoveries? LOL. The Funeral is an awesome track. This is yet ANOTHER great Gossip Girl find. I think this was in the season final of last year. Pretty song.

I got to see her at Lilith yesterday and definitely agree she sounded amazing live. Got the crowd all fired up for a first act to the main stage. And her songs been getting a lot of airplay on the college station here. Little Bit of Red and All for Love are very good tracks. She also did Sweeping the Ashes, and it's really a solid album for a great artist and performer.
  • She is awesome LIVE

Serena Ryder is the opening act for the Barenaked Ladies. Her first song out was All for Love, which was an iTunes free download. Little Bit of Red and All for Love sound great digitally, but I have to say Serena Ryder sounds so much better live with just a guitar.

One of the best songs I've heard in awhile and I'm in my 60's! From what I've read, it seems Serena Ryder is a very nice and "grounded" young lady. This song will take her to the top. I hope she deals with it with same grace she seems to have now.
  • A strong album from a great artist

I saw Serena Ryder open for Barenaked Ladies about a month ago, and she was amazing live. "Is It O.K" is a nice, strong album with high energy throughout. Each song tells a story full of soul. I particularly enjoyed "Little Bit of Red" and "All For Love." In "Little Bit of Red," the strength of her voice and lyrics hits you with a hammer of awesomeness. "All For Love," in a lesser artist's hands, wouldn't come off so well, but Ryder brings it home with a power unexpected. Buy this album. Now.
