The first full-length release by the BCRs! Features three smash UK hits (REMEMBER, SHANG-A-LANG, SUMMERLOVE SENSATION) and their one US hit (SATURDAY NIGHT). The Martin/Coulter tracks here are genius, pure power pop/rock at is most sugary. It is widely reported that session musicians played the backing music here, yet the group contirbutes a few compositions of its own, notably ANGEL ANGEL. If you like power pop/sing-along hits, go for the above-mentioned tunes plus GIVE IT TO ME NOW and JENNY GOTTA DANCE. The rest is a little soft-rock, a little wimpy, but ballad fans will like JUST A LITTLE LOVE and a cover of the Drifters' PLEASE STAY. About time that Arista has seen fit to make this and other original Rollers albums available digitally. Enjoy!
