This Holy Spirit inspired album is just what the youth need. It glorifies the Lord, speaks of his love, and is filled with a victorious message for all. To everyone who loves God and is after fulfilling his heart's desire, this album is for you! Keep making it all about the Lord J-May. If you don't make the top 10 lists then praise the Lord! You do it for God and he loves it.

I love the weighty message found in each song. J-May is a burning one with a message from the place of burning - the "throne room of heaven". I believe this will set the standard for what rap was meant to accomplish!! - Eddie James

With engaging hooks and surprisingly theological lyrics, J.May's debut EP Conflict is a breath of fresh air in the typically shallow waters of the Christian rap genre. This is more than your usual "Jesus is my Homeboy" fare. From describing the spiritual battle of the Christian life with "I Will Wrestle" and the title track "Conflict" to remembering the suffering of Christ in "The Cup," Conflict is filled with New Testament language and concepts describing an in-your-face Christianity reminiscent of Lecrae. J.May's background in Kansas City and the International House of Prayer resound in choruses like "Set Me Ablaze," and this album could well be personified as IHOP's Hip-Hop, but with the authenticity of someone who knows well their audience. J.May's urban roots in Columbus, Ohio, and performing and choreographing hip-hop routines for groups like IHOP-KC and Gospel artist Eddie James gives him a credibility of more than just some synthesized beats.
