No need to get into the fabulous musicianship of the Small Faces .. that speaks for itself. When I picked up an imported English version of this in late 68’ I had no idea what it was going to be. Needless to say, it put be back in my chair! This was psychedelia at it’s finest. Every song different, yet it was a true concept album from the beginning to the end. A horsefly ... really? Totally brilliant! Well, all these years later it remains a mainstay of my collection. It never sounds dated or stale. It lives on much like “Sgt. Peppers” lives on. “Lazy Sunday” is as good as anything done at the time. A truly wonderful piece of work that takes me back to my high school days. 10 Stars!!!!

This is one of the greatest albums ever produced. Cover: one of the coolest I've ever seen Side A: Ogden's Nut Gone Flake, great intro, fantastic instrumental Afterglow, great sound, awesome guitar and keyboard Long Agos and Worlds Apart, love the sounds all around Rene, probably the best on the album, my favorite, great drinking song, see for yourself Song of a Baker, not my favorite, but great song Lazy Sunday, great keyboard Side B, (really Happiness Stan, Rollin' Over, The Hungry Intruder, The Journey, Mad John, and Happydaystoytown) This is on of the coolest concept albums ever. Happiness Stan is looking up at the sky one night and notices the moon isn't there. He then goes on a one week journey to find it, meeting friends along the way. It all culminates in Happydaystoytown, which is purely amazing. My opinion, BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!
