- Don't Listen to the Negative Reviews...

A lot of the reviews on here seem to be written by purists who will dislike almost any deviation from the original. Indeed, the entire "His Way, Our Way" collection seems to be getting a less than warm reception. In my opinion, the Republic Tigers have nailed this one. The layered sound helps to convey the emotional weight of the lyrics. In this way, I think it is appropriate for the vocals to be understated - becoming a part of the sound, rather than defining it. This is a very moving rendition. Within the context of the entire "His Way, Our Way" collection, I think this is a really nice accent.
- I like it!

I probably like this song because I am not familiar with the normal Frank Sinatra song, and I really like The Republic Tigers. And this song is true to there music! so if you like The Republic Tigers get this song. If you don't like them then it is probably not for you.
I sure hope the republic tigers come out with a new cd soon... :-)

The Tigers do not cover tunes very often at all, but when they do, they definitely make it their own. Very complex textures make Dream an entirely new song. I enjoyed this quite a bit, but think the vocal is a bit too much in the background and the instrumentals are too foreground. Maybe a little less processing of the vocal would give it more of a presence. Nonetheless...5 stars for "Dream".
Switch...I recently heard RT at a live concert do a cover of the Turtles classic, label-dig, Elenore. RT popped the bubblegum. Very cool. They should put it on their next album which I hear is "in the works".

This does not like music at all. The Republic Tigers took a great major classic and they ruined it. This is not even music. It is to tecno, and it is hard to tell what they are even saying. I do not reccomend this song at all.
- JUNK

Don't ever mix techno with Sinatra that is just an Insult. These Pieces of garbage just ruined a beautiful song with their crappy interpitation what a group of Morons
- Interesting song, not a Sinatra cover.

It's an interesting arrangement, I'll give it that. However, it should be pointed out that "The Impossible Dream" came from the musical "Man of La Mancha", not Frank Sinatra. Sinatra may have covered the song at some point, but what's really the point in saying you're doing a cover of a cover, but doing an arrangement that sounds nothing like the cover?
Therefore, this is a cover of "Man of La Mancha", not Sinatra.

I think that this could have been good, but if I did not listen to Frank, I would have no idea what they are singing. The music is great. The voice is great, but I can't hear the words. So one star to a four star worthy effort.
- hmmm... Interesesting

this is a good song it's inventive and brings new breath into an old song though a bit overwhelming at times it has a nice feel to it though a bit out of place it's unique and worth getting...
